Many independent authors have dealt with agent and publisher rejection for long enough, and have gotten to the point where they want what they want, and they want it NOW. However, taking the time to work up a professional grade cover design is key to selling books.
Why make me wait?
Cover design is worth a few drafts. It’s worth a few chats with your cover designer, and a few different font choices. You owe it to the book you spent months writing.
I work principally in Adobe Photoshop through a number of free stock image sites like Morguefile, Pixabay and others. If free royalty-free images are impossible to find, the cost of paid images will be tacked onto your bill.
I work closely with authors to make their labor of love shine. I will take as much time and work as necessary to get it right. Paypal makes payment easy for you (and for tax purposes) and me.
What You Get
For 50 USD, you get a personal consultation with me via email or FB messenger, and I check my email multiple times a day. You get great customer service, including minor fixes to your book cover, for life. You also get a hand-crafted ebook cover to put on Smashwords, Amazon, Draft2Digital, or anyplace else you can upload it.
I keep the PSD and JPG files, but give you a copy to keep as well. After all, you may want to go to another designer in the future (perish the thought!) and I’ll give you all the tools for that designer to begin work on a new cover.
For 60 US dollars, you get everything above. In addition, I craft a print-quality PDF of the paperback cover. The back cover can include your author photo and bio, quotes, awards, and of course, the book’s blurb. Plus, just like before, you get consultation and minor fixes for life. Don’t like the blurb you have? Rewrite it and I’ll attach it back on your finished cover five years from now, free of charge.
I email all documents to you, and keep a copy for my reference (as well as to shamelessly display on my website).
